Funny, there will be certain days when I feel very comforted by Wal Mart, it’s unchanging aura, usually not very motivated staff, rollback price signs,…I could chalk this up as the modern day kind of illness that nurses our ignorance; the ‘lost soul’ illness. It is just like the feeling that a doctor will cure all of your health problems and every day worries. The “American Dream” thickens like a cream through that “lost soul” illness. My Substantial Affair With Life: Words Under A Microscope

Words can be rather scientific for they supply us with abundant information yet they always bring up questions. Words will not cease just as science will not rest. Is this paradoxic? Paradoxic, I quickly say, for the most part because we go to words and science for answers. Still, they leave us with questions.

We feel connected through sharing words and informed by pushes and pulls created by science when they keep on creating questions. The urge of Question promotes itself as we insist on drawing physical evidence. So, sharing words as well as information will always remain fragmental for that words are not physical unless expressed in writing. Still, in writing, words remain as merely bent and curved lines. Words are also always in motion when they are spoken from the mouth and the hands. Now physical evidence will bring us relief, yes,… temporal relief. Temporal relief because we are temporarily physical and change is rather constant. We need more than physical evidence. We need a pathway that brings all ideas into tandem so they can reach the epiphany of Oneness where every idea bursts into Light; Collective Light. READ MORE »

Education is the base of reality as we know it, no more or less. It is strictly creatively uncreative. A good metaphor for education in America might be a full grown flamingo in a bursting but unopened egg. Foolish would be a single-word summary for education in America. However, there is a good sign as to the progressive changes that are taking place in schools. No matter how slow the transitional period may be, such notions in needing independence and freedom from the old chalkboard are taking place. Certain courses such as Ways Of Seeing and Creative Writing would make good examples of the turning point concerning present-day education slowly taking place. At any rate, education only reflects the failed reality we hold as our own. A failed reality is an unsuccessful breakthrough of history enlightenment. More or less, we keep on repeating history. I will say this may travel through your eyes like a cold cup of coffee: somewhat refreshing yet strong. I usually do not revise my work heavily. I do the same with my photography. I call it something like “originality” and I am pushing it by calling anything I utter original. That is because even all wonderful, original pieces by amazing artists were imitations of something they saw, felt, smelled, or heard.

So I’m tired out of my mind but of course, this posting is on my mind along with sleep like a tango. Words beg to be evaded by the idyllic curtains of silence in my head yet they tap around like faint visions of feet on a stage under the waiting curtain. You see the tango? I have been going through a few older pieces and I realize the exercises I was doing with them. How I am on the same soapbox! However, I am on a different facet. Whatever shape my soapbox holds, I now am standing on a different slope possibly looking at the horizon slightly differently.

Growth?

Loss of Maya?

Sturdy hydration?

Better vitamins?

Busy in a different light?

Yes to all of above.

No matter how big of a “no-brainer” it seems, we often forget to take care of ourselves. Sometimes it requires cradling the self, being gentle to the self like one would be to a baby
