This past week I paid a new visit to an old friend. So this present week I present an old piece with new revisions.
For three whole decades sages, scholars, and crackpot conspiracists have attempted to explore the labyrinthine life of mankind’s most enigmatic ego-entity. Howdy Recipients, welcome to the thirty-second communique of HACK. If you’ve made it this far, take comfort in knowing that this is not your life.
This week we’ve got real talk. I’ve chopped up some chats, swiped snippets of salubrious speech, and intertwined some serious oral intercourse with quixotic moments of reflective quietude. In other words, I hacked off pieces of recent convos and rehashed them, some in context and some far out. (I don’t even know what that means.) I rewrote everything after that comma at least six times before moving onto this point. That was the length of my staycation, which included: (in order of importance) sleep, naps, smoking, sitting in front of the computer, writing, eating, lesson planning, grading papers, and visiting family and friends.
