Banks are lame.
Keeping money in banks is lame. People who rely on banks are lame. People who dont use cash are lame. Cash rules everything around me. We created these pieces of paper to represent something. Something very real. I know the work I have to do to earn it is real so I shall treat it as such. Banks are crooks. There should be an I.Q. test for people who work at banks. There should be an I.Q. test for people who use banks. Money is real. I have some in my pocket right now. Money may be lame but its a lot better than bartering with fox pelts. I don’t think checks are lame. They are a necessary thing to pay bills far away.
Debit and credit cards however = LAME.
I try not to purchase much from the internet. Sometimes it’s necessary but if I can find it in a store and pay with cash, that’s what I prefer, to physically get something myself. It’s a pride thing or as you would say “do for delf”. When something is unavailable in my area I WILL order it (such as Udder Balm). However, I take it a step further and try to get those things stocked locally so others can have access to them as well. A great example is actually the Udder Balm. Due to my persistence it is now carried at the Blue Seal place in Fishkill. No more paying more for shipping than the ACTUAL COST OF THE PRODUCT.
Ultimately this all stems from the totally useless lady with bad grammar who was unable to help resolve my issue. The bank closes at 4. I was 2 minutes late. Did I mention banks are lame? I didn’t expect it to stay open for me. I just figured they stayed open at least till 5. I was unaware that they had funny hours. The credit union actually stays open till 7. I had no idea Bank of America was on their own pedestal of lameness.
I guess the verdict is that all banks are lame but the credit union is less lame and BoA is more lame.
