The delay: me. Actually, I took action 3 days after the site went down, as soon as I could afford hosting. The next 7 days have been an annoying series of troubleshooting phone calls and e-mails. My Substantial Affair With Life: Throwback #1
So I’m tired out of my mind but of course, this posting is on my mind along with sleep like a tango. Words beg to be evaded by the idyllic curtains of silence in my head yet they tap around like faint visions of feet on a stage under the waiting curtain. You see the tango? I have been going through a few older pieces and I realize the exercises I was doing with them. How I am on the same soapbox! However, I am on a different facet. Whatever shape my soapbox holds, I now am standing on a different slope possibly looking at the horizon slightly differently.

Fuck Independence Day. Not the movie Independence Day. That movie’s pretty good, I’m watching it right now. I don’t even mean Fuck Independence Day as in I don’t care about history or the fact that the Declaration of Independence was a unique document formed around ideas that evolved us a species. I just mean–it was a long time ago. Where’s the holiday for the writing of the Tao Te Ching? Or let’s celebrate The Council of Trent when the grand ‘ol Catholic Church decided what books would stay in the Bible and which ones would go? Looking for something more American?
